This is a used Giant Little Golden Book titled: THIS WORLD OF OURS,
with the wonderful illustrations of Eloise Wilkin. This is an “A” edition of
the 1959 copyrighted book by Jane Werner Watson. The pages are
darkened slightly by age, and there are childish markings that appear to
be a name, from a yellow highlighter, on the first page. There is no name
in the name box on the inside cover. There are a few light pencil marks
on a few of the other pages. The book shows normal wear, including a
top and bottom tear in the blue foil spine cover that is decorated with red,
silver and gold stars. The edges and corners of the pages show normal
wear.
The charming text teaches children about the natural world around them.
The book number is 5026 and the 50c price is on the cover in a golden
star. The back cover, which shows some light markings, lists 20 other
titles in this series.
